For any work, there needs to be an urge. But who is having the urge? The self? The ego? So even for good purposeful work, is the ego the driver?
While working in a group, there will be the inevitable crossing of the paths. How to deal with it? A little bit urge, expression and presentation is ok as it's inevitable. But as Gurudev says, the milk can become curd, but we should not let it become sour.
The situations are so fluid. The emotions of people are so fluid. One moment there's compassion and care, while the other moment, there's jealousy, ego or drive. The awareness of the fluidity make you aware that you need not label and predict anyone.
And the fluidity of the situations makes you realize that you need not find your corner of comfort and settle your ego down anywhere.

The Urge
The morning and the routine
Each day, the same discipline
With the poor or the rich,
For the grind, there's no breach.
So I want to do this thing
But to me, what does it bring?
The meaning I see for this larger goal
Someone got served and am so full!
The urge to do all by ourselves.
But what if it be done by someone else?
Fail or win, the journey I embrace
For my goals, I chase.
All the wins, I show with pride
But with setbacks, do I hide?
All my goals begin with fire.
But with time, do I tire?
What's that urge, that drive?
What really makes me thrive?
Either my dream or the larger good
But for the soul, is this the food?
Each day, the same discipline
With the poor or the rich,
For the grind, there's no breach.
So I want to do this thing
But to me, what does it bring?
The meaning I see for this larger goal
Someone got served and am so full!
The urge to do all by ourselves.
But what if it be done by someone else?
Fail or win, the journey I embrace
For my goals, I chase.
All the wins, I show with pride
But with setbacks, do I hide?
All my goals begin with fire.
But with time, do I tire?
What's that urge, that drive?
What really makes me thrive?
Either my dream or the larger good
But for the soul, is this the food?
