Life moves on..

Practically, most of the times mind tends to be in a state of moderate prana.

A good thing is that in this state, you are not completely down. Although you experience some uncontrolled moments of actions, expressions, feelings, confusions and discomfort, you also simultaneously experience moments of viveka- where you plan what you need to do next, and do it.

Life is not always completely down! Feel blessed!

Ego

Subtle things about people that do not go down your throat trigger ego in you.

On the outer periphery of actions, you attempt to keep your control. But that's not done.

As it is, eyes and expressions speak more than actions.

But forgetting about outer periphery, you need to be aware within that nothing is permanent.

How much sensitive are we?

Life is so busy that you don’t get to bond or work with every person around you who could possibly work with you.

What does that result in? You are more connected and sensitive to the problems in some peoples’ lives than in others’.

All souls go through the same pains. But each one is connected and feels sensitivity to only a few.. he helps out only a few of his friends in times of need.. that’s how this life is.

Inspiring

You do the best in your hands and move ahead...

Later, when you hit a saturation point, you change your direction in search of some more meaningful work. But one thing remains fixed-- you continue to put efforts. This is how I think we can define this man, Rasanath Das.

An IIT graduate and an ex-investment banker, Rasanath Das has now become a monk and has been helping the Wall Street protesters meditate. Belonging to the ISKCONites sect and having the great Radhanath Maharaj as his Guru, his life inspires awe. Following link has a brief intro about this great man.

How much to express?

In this world, everybody seems to be seeking love and attention. In case if you find someone not going through it, then it means that that person is seeking his love and attention from somewhere else.

Feelings will always come. That’s inevitable. Responding to feelings in moderation, but not beyond limits should be practiced. If you suppress the feelings completely, it makes you unhappy, frustrated and depressed. Hence, to counter this, a bit of expression is always required. But at the same time, too much expression makes you seek love from outside and shifts your centre of happiness out of you. It disturbs you, makes you impulsive and depressed again or bring in the distortions of love if you feel that you do not get that love or attention you seek for. Hence, too much of indulgence into expression and attention also has to be avoided. Balancing the expression and aloofness should be practiced again and again with awareness..

Feelings are inevitable. But, observing the feelings as they come and graduating out of them is essential for reaching the goal.

Everything has a purpose

Every event or situation in life has a purpose.

Like the famous conversation in Shawshank Redemption which Red made with the rehabilitation officer… where “rehabilitation is just a made-up word. A politician's word, so that young fellas like you can wear a suit and a tie and have a job.”

So is every situation or need in life.. just a place to get engaged and busy..

So, maybe when there is a need to suffer and serve, we have natural disasters. And when there is a need to suffer and express, we have protests and revolutions..
