In the jungles, the animals don’t want to die. They bear the pain of losing their offspring or siblings to predators. Else someone else will go hungry. The animals are alert.
The chicken shop is worser. Once the chicken reaches the shop, it is looking at its own fate as it sees the end of its fellow mates. There is no love, freedom or choice.
Yet, in the world, there is a plan. There is a design. The animal offspring starts walking within a few minutes of taking birth. The animals don’t need to cook. There is love. There is companionship. There is parenthood. Animals in a herd protect each other. But there is pain and loss too. Is it different than the humans?
Does this signal anything? May be because the animal world too is, at last, the world. Everyone comes to the world for a temporary period. It’s not the final destination. It’s a transitory phase. So how can one be allowed to settle in this transitory illusion with the only experience of pleasure? Whether an insect or an animal or a human, you have to move on.

Do things, but don't get caught up in things.
You are supposed to do things. Work on your goals- career, job/ business and service. But don't get caught in things. Otherwise you experience greed, ego, anger and jealousy.
Are You Attracted?
You may get attracted to someone due to looks, qualities, personality traits or achievements. But all attractions fade. Only the attractions to someone for wisdom, truth, service or quest stays. Other attractions are temporary.

What has changed?
We live for about, say, 70-80 years or less or more. As years pass, old people move out and new people come in. But there are always people and events through whom we experience same emotions, challenges, successes and failures. At 80, we are still transacting as much as we were at 15. So what has changed?

Being a witness to the events around us?
Today, India has a historic win against Australia in Test cricket. The intensity and thrill of this test series kept everyone glued. At the end, India delivered. Shubman Gill, Rishabh Pant performed. Mohd. Siraj was proven. Shardul and Sundar too. An elated moment for Hanuma Vihari, Ravindra Jadeja & Ashwin. At the same time, Australia lost. Maybe a ‘sad’ day for Australians. Prithvi Shaw couldn’t deliver. Does he regret that he missed this historic opportunity? Rohit Sharma was not at his best. Virat may regret not being a part too, no idea. The same events that brought elation, satisfaction and extreme happiness for some, may have brought regret, sadness for some others. And hence, it is so important to just be a witness to events, no matter which side of them we are at.
