The Bigger perspective

If you see a child playing so seriously with a toy that looks stupid and meaningless to you, do you think that it is meaningless for the child too? The child will cry loudly if you snatch that meaningless toy away. So, if someone who exists at all times is observing you today- toiling for your responsibilities, ambitions, desires, goals, whatever that keeps you working, shouldn’t that someone feel from a bigger horizon of time that all that you are doing, although serious stuff for you right now, is actually meaningless? Just like that child who will eventually grow up and not find that toy meaningful, all your serious stuffs will become meaningless one day, just a few years from now. What about a few hundred years from now? What about a few million years from now? What will be left of your current situation?

But the child has time and it has toy in front of it. It should just play and be happy. What else can a child do? So you too can keep working because you have time & you have stuffs to do. So just like you know that that child is only playing with that toy, nothing much serious, you can also know that the stuffs in front of you are just a few toys- nothing much serious.
